A Message from the Pastor

What a chaotic world we live in today! North Korea has been firing missiles capable of
carrying nuclear warheads. Recent reports indicate they may soon develop a warhead small enough to be used on their missiles. Latest news is that North Korea has even threatened to attack Guam. This has intensified concerns over a nuclear attack. Iran has also been working on its own nuclear capabilities, which only heightens concerns that a nuclear conflict might occur. Even our own country is in a state of chaos – as investigations into Russian influence continues, efforts to repeal Obamacare fails, and the Republican Party, which has the majority, is divided and become ineffective. While the world seems to be spinning out of control, God is still in control. So much so He can say in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Those who have trusted God’s Son Jesus Christ have nothing to fear. They are the ones who love God, the ones who are called according to His purposes, and the ones for whom all things
will work for the good.
